I'm a conservative, traditional type of guy, a deep thinker and interested in the world and its people, cultures and nature. I learn best by observing and emulating people I admire and always better myself towards being a respectful person. I enjoy learning about philosophy and how to lead a happier more fulfilling life. Others often describe me as being quiet, mature and empathetic. I'm very much a calm and relaxed person and try to make others feel the same. I have a strong mind and a high degree of self discipline. I've never smoked, taken drugs or let myself get drunk.
I'm a practical person and love the outdoors, being adventurous and spontaneous. I get satisfaction from working hard and making an effort to do my best. I like responsibility and believe a man should lead the way in the relationship with his partners interests in mind and always making sure their needs are met. I want to live a simple non-materialistic life. Just live for my future partner and family.
I lived most of my earlier life in Sydney and more recently in outback Queensland. It's my dream to settle in the country to raise a family. I've always loved Tasmania in particular. It's a place I would be quite at home.
I recently found a connection with God which has brought more peace and meaning into my life and made me a stronger person. I'm not comfortable with a church setting if it's overpowering. I would prefer something low key or just practice in my own time and place.
